According to legal docs just filed in L.A. County Superior Court, Slash — real name Saul Hudson — cites irreconcilable differences. Slash and wife Perla Ferrar have two boys, age 6 and 8.  Slash is asking for joint physical and legal custody.

Sources close to the couple tell TMZ the breakup is extremely acrimonious.

Slash, who is repped by disso-queen Laura Wasser, is willing to pay spousal support, according to the docs. There is no prenup.

The couple was married in October 2001. Slash lists the date of separation as July 15, 2010.

MILWAUKEE — Students and staff at three local schools are going to new heights to try and win some money and they need help from the public. Kohl’s is giving $500,000 to 20 schools across the country. St. Marcus Lutheran in Milwaukee, along with Pius High School and Mitchell Elementary in Racine are all in the competition, but are not in the top 20, currently. To get back into the running, students are making signs to decorate the school and administrators are planning to sit on the rooftop until they get enough votes to win or until the competition wins. “We think it is critical that some of this money stays in Milwaukee so we’re asking the community to rally and to vote, to go to the website and vote,” St. Marcus Lutheran Superintendent Henry Tyson said. Each person can vote up to 20 times and people can vote for the same school up to five times.

STURGIS, S.D. — Mean machines and burly bikers didn’t draw Amanda White to the world’s largest motorcycle rally. She had her sights set on a bow-tied nerd in an ill-fitting gray plaid suit: Pee-wee Herman.

Actor Paul Reubens is reintroducing Pee-wee – his alter ego and 1980s cult character – to fans at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota, which is expected to draw more than 500,000 people this week.

“I call it my Pee-wee pilgrimage,” said White, a 29-year-old Minneapolis school teacher who drove 10 hours to the rally and had Reubens autograph her bicycle seat. “I’m a huge Pee-wee fan.”

White is not alone. Plenty of Pee-wee fans have flocked to the Buffalo Chip campground outside Sturgis to see Reubens’ character perform at a venue also hosting Ozzy Osbourne, Kid Rock, ZZ Top and Bob Dylan.

“Bob Dylan is here because people like him and Pee-wee is here for the same reason,” said Buffalo Chip owner Rod Woodruff. “They are both American icons.”

Reubens is in Sturgis ahead of a 48-performance Broadway run of the “The Pee-wee Herman Show” that begins Oct. 26 and is based in part on the TV show “Pee-wee’s Playhouse.” He said he’s “never been to anything like this in my life.”

“I’m really bowled over by it,” he told The Associated Press on Sunday. “There are people from all walks of life here.”

Reubens filmed a remake of the infamous “Tequila dance” biker bar scene from his 1985 comedy “Pee-wee’s Big Adventure.” On Monday, he was slated to participate in various charity events and host what was billed as the world’s largest “Tequila dance” to the tune of the 1958 instrumental by the Champs.

But Woodruff said it would be impossible to officially tally the Tequila dancers.

Indiana cops claim they found pot and other illegal drugs in two of Bret Michaels‘ tour buses last night.

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office tells TMZ Bret was onboard one of buses when cops made the stop at around 11:30 PM.  K9s found the pot.  One of the buses — not the one Bret was on — had Schedule II controlled substances inside, and cops tells us they’re illegal drugs.

Citations were issued but no arrests were made.  The case is being forwarded to DeKalb prosecutors.

Michaels’ rep gave us the following statement:

“Two of Bret’s tour buses were pulled over late last night. Officers on the scene claimed there were no trailer tag lights. No arrests were made. Mr. Michaels allowed an open search of the buses and everything was handled in a professional manner.”
